Vitus Bering Kamchatka State University (KamSU) is an adventurous choice for those who love to travel, explore, and make discoveries. No matter which program applicants choose— bioecology, geophysics, tourism, or any of the 22 available —they will be surrounded by volcanoes, the ocean, and pristine wilderness.

Kamchatka is a living laboratory that attracts not only travelers but also scientists from around the globe.

KamSU offers Russia’s only Master’s program in Volcanology. Students explore the ocean, study Japanese, and participate in expeditions. The university is part of the federal development initiative “Priority 2030” and continuously improves education quality through partnerships with leading Russian universities.
